A layer of snow fell during the night and covered the lane with a white carpet. I was fortunate to walk in the snow before anyone else, something I have loved to do since childhood. I think snow brings out the child in everyone. As I continued up the lane I came across a set of paw prints from a fox, in the newly fallen snow. The snow was glistening in the sun’s rays, as it rose above the meadow.
The sunshine glows in an azure sky,
Lighting sparkles as the minutes pass by.
Bright and crisp, clear and pure,
A beautiful vision with great allure.
A red fox, such a “handsome creature”
